I draw weird people

I found myself sat in a very nice Vegan cafe in that London the other day waiting for a friend. After a couple of beers and a pizza with a disappointing lack of meat on it I did some drawding.

Sketches

The wife was doing my head in tap-tap-tapping on her computer behind me while I was trying hard to think of funny things. So I went down the local cafe-bar-pub-thingy and sat on my own staring at people. After a while I thought I ought to do some sketches so as not to get arrested.

Doodles

I love doodling in me sketchbook... and the best bit is always finding stuff you;ve forgotten about. I did these before christmas when I was working on a character design pitch for Aardman. Nothing came of that, and I have been so busy working on the Musicians of Bremen that these got buried under a pile of paper on my desk. looking at it now, there are a couple of characters that are giving me the wink. I reckon I might have to try and animate some of them. Or at least colour them in a bit...
