The Legendary King of Pop pops his clogs

I, like many, many others have been touched by Michael Jackson over the years and I can honestly say I have never felt as much grief over the death of someone I didn't know since Diana died. The tributes have been flooding in. Madonna can't stop crying. Celine Dion is quite upset. Uri Geller doesn't believe its true. Here is my little tribute to Michael Jackson. A man who made records I sometimes listened to if they were on.

Merlin

Here are a few more sneaky-peekys at some of the Merlin illustrations I did last week. I really enjoyed doing them, but it was a massive relief to get them finished on friday. Then I had the first weekend off for about 3 months... lovely stuff.

Joe has just finished an animation test for a little project we've been working on.

The voices were done by all-round smart-arses Louis Jones and Tom Parkinson.

Have you ever wondered...

...Who Wears Glasses? Well, this book will answer all of that question. And more.
I'm illustrating a new children's book by Ana Galan (as well as the Merlin one) and really should be working. But thought I'd treat myself to a 5 minute break and post the cover image I have just sent to the publisher in America. Yes. That's right... I am now inter-continental.

Merlin

Here are a couple of sections from illustrations I'm doing for a kids book about Merlin for OUP. I'm really enjoying it, but have another 35 illustrations to finish. Flipping heck. No fun for me this next fortnight.

Blimey. Is it June already... I thought it was getting warm for february. My theory that the world is speeding up seems to be correct. I won't go into the exact details, but it has a lot to do with wind farms.
May was really, really busy, but as yet I've not got much to show for it. Here are a couple of characters from an idea Joe and me came up with. Its still in early development stages, but we are quite excited by the reception it has got so far.
I'm also working on 2 children's books at the moment and will post pictures when I can. best get back to the drawing board...
