Out on the town with a Lovestallion
Yes. Jaques Dreamboat, world's premier lovestud/male model/actor was unveiled at the Inkygoodness show. I noticed he went down particularly well with the ladies. Great night, great people, shit camera.
Blurry photos of some of the stuff on the walls including Toy Factory, Steph says hello, Muxxi and Darren John.
The Anty-Climax print is now available in my shop for £35. It's a limited edition Giclee on proper nice Somerset 255g paper. Ooooh, go on and touch it!

One more day to go!
I've got famous male model and gigolo Jaques Dreamboat staying at my house this week as he's making his grand appearance at the INKYGOODNESS show on friday. He's a bit of tit, to be honest. Already started brushing his hair for tomorrow night... and he keeps leaving the door open when he has a shower or goes for a poo.

In conjunction with my good friend Bertram Fiddle, we have made some new t-shirts featuring none other than Mr. Joseph Merrick, the Elephantman. Perfect to keep your arms cold this winter. Or why not insult one of your larger friends with it as a crispmas present?
Printed on a heavyweight t-shirt they are limited to 30 and on sale for £20 each. Each t-shirt comes with its very own Elephantman ink drawing.

Dreamboat Exhibition YEAHHHH!
Friday 10th December is the opening night for the latest Inkygoodness show. They've teamed up with Dreamboat records for a weekend of music and ART at Start the Bus in Bristol. I'm taking part in the exhibition with a load of RAD illustrators in the upstairs gallery (entrance is round the side near to Tesco's)
As usual, I've not quite got everything finished yet, but there will be some new prints available and some paintings of a very special duderino... the World's foremost Lovestallion himself...

A pair of Tits
A couple of Birds on Exhibition at the Tobacco Factory, Bristol. They are decorations for something called Criskmash. The lovely twiggy wreaths (which are probably crawling with insects) were made by the ever-so-handy Davey Bainy.

Been extwemely busy recently and not had chance to post anything. Had a day off today so did a painting for the Blaarrgghh website.

After the amazing success of the Decked Project (see this post) I was asked to paint a deck for a friend's birthday. Fortunately he is a fan of hairy monsters too.

New(ish) Illustrations
I've been working on a lot of stuff recently that is unbloggable due to it's top-secret nature... but here are a few peeks at some children's book illustrations I did last month.
Got to go, the walls have ears, the computer is an eye and the floor is sometimes like one giant mouth, waiting for me to slip so it can eat me for its din-dins...

Bertram-atronics
I've been having adventures with Bertram Fiddle almost exclusively this last few weeks. Me and Joe have been trying to get something together to show some extremely important people with the aid of the lovely WonkyFilms. Its all very cloak and dagger at the moment...just the way Bertram likes it!
here are some sketches of Victorian-ishy people that will probably never get used.

Inkygoodness Update 2
Dave Bain has made a video of the opening night of the Exhibition. See if you can count how many zooms there are?
oh! oh! oh! T-shits!
And I nearly forgot... my sample t-shits have arrived! I'm so happy! I wore one to the Bristol Kite festival (its a Dad thing) and saw Justin Lee Collins. He was eating a pie at the time so didn't say anything... but I could tell he liked it. Good Times! (I've a ttached a drawing of how that meeting might have turned out had he not been stuffing his face)
The official launch of the tee's is coming up soon. I'll be attaching a link when there is a website to link to.
I've just realised I should have ironed them a bit before taking the photos...
Inkygoodness Update
The Inkygoodness show on Brick lane has been well good so far. It had over a BILLION people turn up for the thursday night opening and is continuing to draw in loads of people, most of whom seem to like it. Woo-hoo. It carries on until 6pm this Sunday (12th sept). Some of me favourite bits were McBess's's's wall tattoo, the colourbox installation and having a hugsy with Stephen Chan, but everything was wicked! Get yerself down there.
Here are my 2 pieces in all their pointless glory!

Outsmart!
I didded an illustration for Gemma Randall's bwilliant Outsmart Project where illustrators get to create a piece of artwork inspired by the dinky likkle Smart Car. I decided that Smart Cars would be perfectly suited to aiding and abbetting cake crime (although I do NOT advocate the stealing of cupcakes from anyone... even Evil Goblin Kings)

Decked Project private view
Went down to London Town for the private view of the Decked Project at the Coningsby Gallery. All the decks looked great and it was nice meeting some of the other artists including Cami Dobrin, Docvek, Cristina Guitian and about 50 odd more. I just wish I had worn tighter trousers. The exhibition carries on until 28th August.

Bertram Fiddle
Me and Joe have been busy recently trying to update some of our good friend Bertram's videos. They were all made in 1896, you see, so are a bit fuzzy...
He's been enthralling us for hours with his tales of adventure. I just wish there was a way we could share them all with you.

Plush You
Atsuko has been busy beavering away making toys for the Plush You show in Los Angeles, which starts on August 26th at MUNKY KING. Harold's older brother Henry has packed his bags and has jetted off with a couple of friends to participate. We'll post more photos after the show. Oh, and if anyone is in LA (Dave, Monika....) can you keep an eye out for them as Henry has a knack of getting into trouble.

Paint the Bus
Did some painting on the walls of a pub (Start the Bus) in Bristol during the harbour festival, with other Brizzlillustrators, like Dave Bain, Cami Dobrin and some of the inkygoodness crew. It was a lovely way to spend the day and I was surprised how many people sat around and watched. Who'd have thought watching paint dry would have been so interesting, eh?... I suppose having a bar serving alchyhol next to us might have helped a bit.
